A Seoul-based DJ/producer DJ co.kr released a new album [BORI]. As an extension of his constant interests and exploration into Samulnori percussion, this track reminds of breakbeat/techno drum pattern and sweep synthesizer that dominated the 90s.’ While it’s a perfect dancefloor track, it’s impressive that its witty lyrics described the moments that you might experience in clubnights. 이윤정, who was a former PPPB member and now sings for numnum, offers a funk rock vocal that adds the raw and fun energy that suits the ever-changing variations of the track, making it a perfect club tune. Reworks of MINA, SWING TING, and BORAI who featured as remix artists also proves DJ co.kr’s capability of curating modern dance music.
